So I've been meaning to put a picture up of my table runner that I made a while back and I'm just now getting around to it. It was too dark in the kitchen, though, so I had to relocate it to the computer room for the lighting to turn out decent.

And here's my newest project...

I started it over the weekend as a way to keep my mind off of how horrible I felt ( both Steve and I were really sick all weekend... not fun). Neither blocks are finished yet, I'm planning to add applique at some point. I have to finish 2 more blocks, then I'm turning it into a runner for our poor barren coffee table.

I'll probably just hand quilt it when I'm through; with all the applique, I want the stitching to look more detailed. My awesome mom-in-law helped me find backing for the quilt I made not too long ago and she's dropping it off to be quilted sometime soon. I probably never would have gotten around to it if she hadn't prompted me.... I'm horrible these days, always too tired/lazy after school and work to do very much.

I'm kind of taking a break from my pinwheel quilt... I was getting frustrated with it and I never had enough time to put into it to really see any results. I'm sticking to smaller projects for right now... stuff that I know I'll actually finish.

I'm starting to notice that this blog is just turning into a place for me to record my projects lol....
Still, it beats me talking about school or work, neither of which is all that interesting to anyone other than my fellow dental nerds.
I'll try to work on having something interesting to report..lol...
