These are pics of the quilt I was working on a couple of months ago... it's actually already at the quilters, but I don't have a picture of the quilt top, which I will post when I get it back.
here's the other quilt top I finished. I made it reversible, so we'll see how that turns out when I get it back.
And these next 3 pictures were taken by my lovely sister-in-law, Crystal, of my girl Kia. She did a fantastic job. Check out her website www.yourpicphotography.com ... her prices are awesome. :-)

Aside from projects, we've had a lot going on lately... we moved, which I'm so glad about, because now we're in a house, plus it's in the country so it's nice and quiet. Kia is loving it. I'm planning to post pics, I'm just waiting till we finish getting everything in its place and get some pictures up on the walls. This was by far the most disorganized move ever. It didn't help that we moved the week of my birthday (we had a deadline), plus we had the alternator go out on my blazer and the battery die in the prelude all on the same day. It was an interesting week. Lol...
On a different note, I have less than two months left before I go to extern! I think I might be freaking out a little.... I've got a lot to do before then. So please be praying that I can focus, get everything done, and pass my MO Basic Skills in two weeks (which I am just now starting to study for)!! Eek... stress...lol..
I'll try not to wait 2 months before updating again!
:-)
Wow! Jenny! Your work is beautiful! I love the fabrics that you picked for the quilt top, fabulous. And I love your other flower quilt you made. I just love them all! Maybe in another life, when I'm not so busy I'll pick up quilting, you sure inspired me.
ReplyDeleteWell thanks!! I know, all it took was seeing the right fabrics together, and suddenly I was hooked on quilting (something I used to think was dorky!) LOL :-)
